This workshop will explore how the iPad/ iPod Touch can create a new type of learning experience on a school excursion. Students will be in charge of their learning by having control in their hands to develop their problem solving skills- map reading, geolocation, finding direction, communication as well as handling text, audio and video.
We will be looking into multimedia access, connectivity, capture and analytical tools enhanced on the iPod Touch. All the hands-on activities will allow students to build up a 3D landscape of the world they are living in. They will evident their learning journal which could be added into their digital portfolio.
