With the understandable rush to embrace authentic, integrated technology, we are in danger of losing something - a broad, balanced set of ICT Skills. But can we really have these without reverting to the bad old days of lab teaching? - yes we can.
We should not neglect opportunities to read and write, for example, realistic fiction, or physics or shape and space in Mathematics, I believe the same applies to what could be called the 'digital domains' or literacies of ICTs, such as, text, image, video, audio and data (with coding/control waiting in the wings) - this is easier than you might think, and this session will show just how easy it can be to have your digital cake and eat it.
